East Development Office (EDO) is mainly responsible for planning and implementation of engineering projects related to major developments mainly in the Sai Kung District and east Kowloon. It also responsible for liaison on projects in the Sai Kung, Wong Tai Sin, Kwun Tong and Kowloon City Districts.

Current major projects undertaken by EDO include Tseung Kwan O-Lam Tin Tunnel, Cross Bay Link, Kai Tak and Cruise Terminal Development and the Development of Anderson Road Quarry site.
