Stratigraphy: Jurassic intrusive rocks with an age of approximately 159 million years before present.
Distribution: The Tsing Shan Granite forms an elliptical pluton in the western New Territories with its outcrop extending from Lung Kwu Chau in the south to Tsim Bei Tsui in the north.
Lithology: Equigranular to inequigranular two-mica granite.
