Stratigraphy: Cretaceous intrusive rocks considered to have formed no older than approximately 140 million years before present.

Distribution: The Fan Lau Granite crops out in the vicinity of Fan Lau and southeast of Shek Pik in southern Lantau Island.

Lithology: Porphyritic fine-grained biotite granite.
