The key to the success of The Tung Chung New Town Extension project – reclamation and advance works showcased is the management of ground settlement and seawall stability in reclamation, and the enhancement of biodiversity along the shoreline. The Tung Chung New Town Extension project showcased major technological advancements in design and construction of the reclamation project such as Deep cement mixing technique.
The contribution of the project team was fully recognized by the industry. We were honoured to receive HKIE Geotechnical Project Excellence Award 2023.
