CEDD Signed Contract for Site Formation and Infrastructure Works at Tin Wah Road, Lau Fau Shan
The Civil Engineering and Development Department signed a contract of about HK$400 million on 23 May 2024 with China Geo-Engineering Corporation for carrying out site formation and infrastructure works for public housing development at Tin Wah Road, Lau Fau Shan.
The works mainly include site formation works of about 2 hectares at Tin Wah Road, Lau Fau Shan, realigning and widening of an existing un-named road (commonly known as New Sha Kong Wai Road) to single two-lane carriageway, widening of a section of Tin Wah Road to dual two-lane carriageway, construction of noise barriers on this section of Tin Wah Road and other infrastructure works including drainage, sewerage, waterworks and landscaping.
The works commenced on 18 May 2024 and will take about 46 months to complete.
