18 June 2022 is 50 years after the Tragic Landslides on 18 June 1972. To commemorate the two disastrous landslides 50 years ago, a thematic guided tour was organised by the Geotechnical Engineering Office at the "Po Shan Drainage Tunnel - Landslide Sci-Tech Chamber". Po Shan Drainage Tunnel helps reduce the risk of major landslides at the Po Shan area and enhance public safety. The guided tour aimed at raising the awareness of slope safety to the public and reminding the public to stay vigilant to climate change and landslide risk induced by extreme weather.
