The Geotechnical Engineering Office of Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) arranged a guided tour to Po Shan Drainage Tunnel - Landslide Sci-Tech Chamber as part of the "Science in the Public Service" Campaign on 27 November 2022 in order to introduce the public our promotion and application of innovation and new technologies to enhance our services in slope safety aspect.

Our staff guided the visitors to various galleries of different themes in the Chamber. We showcased the innovation and new technologies adopted to regulate the groundwater levels so as to reduce the risk of major landslides for public safety, and reminded members of the public to stay vigilant of the increasing landslide risk due to climate change and extreme rainstorms.
