“Slope Safety Parent-child Carnival” from 8 to 11 September 2023 at Domain, Yau Tong
Organized by the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) and supported by the Buildings Department, the Slope Safety Parent-child Carnival will be held from 8 to 11 September at Domain in Yau Tong. Families are welcome. In addition to display panels, there will be various interactive game booths with souvenirs. Members of the public are welcome to join with their children to know more about Hong Kong's landslide hazards and the importance of slope safety, while having fun from the games. Admission is free.
The carnival will be held between 11am and 8pm from 8 to 10 September and between 11am and 7pm on 11 September at Atrium on Ground Floor in Domain. A geotechnical engineer from the CEDD will answer questions from the public on slope safety and maintenance from 11am to 1pm on 10 September. In addition, a team of researchers from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology will demonstrate an Augmented Reality (AR) game about landslide between 11am and 3pm on 9 and 10 September.
