Abstract

The year 2021 marked the 70^th anniversary of the Mines Division under the Civil Engineering and Development Department, an important milestone for this specialised division.  The Mines Division's specialised duties not only provide support for the smooth implementation of infrastructure works, but are also crucial for local festivities and entertainment production.  This commemorative booklet contains a collection of historical archival information about the establishment of the Mines Division and also an overview of its roles.
