Abstract

This report presents the findings of a review of a landslide incident (Incident No. 2008/06/0320) on a soil-nailed cut slope No. 7NE-A/C167 at Ting Kok Road, Tai Po. The incident probably occurred on 7 June 2008, involving a shallow failure on the upper batter of the slope. The failure volume was about 20 m³. No casualties were reported as a result of the incident. The key objectives of the review were to document the facts about the landslide incident including past geotechnical input to the slope and site observations. Recommendations for follow-up actions are reported separately.
