Abstract

This memoir describes the solid and superficial geology of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. It covers the geology depicted on map Sheet Nos. 11 and 15 but also parts of Sheet Nos. 10, 14 and 16. This area is underlain mainly by Cretaceous volcanic and granitic rocks.
