CEDD Signed Contract for Handling of Surplus Public Fill

The Civil Engineering and Development Department signed a contract of about HK$4,448 million on 23 July 2024 with China Harbour Engineering Company Limited for handling of surplus public fill.

The works include operation and maintenance of Tseung Kwan O Area 137 Fill Bank and Tuen Mun Area 38 Fill Bank and delivery of public fill to the designated reclamation sites in the Mainland.   The works are scheduled to commence in August 2024 and will take about 36 months to complete.
